As a new mom when you find products you love you just want to rave about them. My Pivot Travel
system is one of the better purchases this time around. I have been using it for six weeks now since the birth of my little angel, Kai. It has proven to be a great purchase on so many levels. From day to day errands, to traveling, to mini staycations like our recent park day in a neighboring city. The Evenflo stroller has served me well!
We decided to venture for the day to explore a new park we have never been to before. The park offered different trails, playgrounds, ponds and even horse rides. Thankfully the long weekend kept our daddy home, which made Yana a very happy camper. I have been doing my best spreading the love between her and the newborn, but seeing her smile when the whole family is together is priceless.
When we were packing up, her wish list of what to bring to the park was large. From her skateboard, to her doll, to her ball and a picnic basket the list kept growing. I too have a larger list these days having to care and pack for two kids. The basket on the Evenflo Travel Pivot
is very spacious. So I was able to accommodate everyones wishes.
Yana has been wanting to bring her skateboard wherever she goes with her daddy as she wants to skateboard just like him. She loves the thrill when he skates with her in his arms. The two of them are the cutest things ever when they skate! Plus this park offered perfect asphalt trails to practice their skills.
Thankfully this day was not too hot. After skateboard time we found a quiet spot to chill on our blanket and pull the picnic out and let baby Kai nap.
Since Kai is doing a lot of sleeping throughout the day, I can not travel without the bassinet attachment to the stroller. The flat surface is so much better for his sleep and being the Russian mom who prefers to have her baby sleep outside in fresh air, the attachment is with me everywhere I go. I plan to bring it to my first overnight vacation that is coming up, that way I do not need to carry or rent a pack-and-play.
The functionality of the Evenflo stroller
has pushed me to take long walks that are helping with the post baby weight loss journey. I was so thankful to fit into this summery romper for the day in the park. I paired it with comfortable mesh espadrilles and oversized sunnies. Since I hold the baby so much these days, I stay away from most accessories except earrings and soft bracelets. I do miss my purse selection. A backpack has been my go-to for all my mommy needs.
and Kai’s outfit
are linked for you here as well.
