Style Your Holiday Season with a Versatile Jumpsuit
I am excited to share this post on how to style your Holiday Season with a versatile jumpsuit. I love it when I find a piece so versatile that it works year round effortlessly. That would be the one piece jumpsuit that I discovered last spring. It took me through the summer and now I’m styling it for winter. To show you how it can work on many body shapes and for casual or dressy occasions, I asked my blogger colleague Meaghan from Pebble and Pearl to help me show off the versatility of the jumpsuit. Meghan just posted a fabulous interview post with me on her blog, head over there to check her out and how fabulous she looked in OliaModa pieces.
I love this jumpsuit for two reasons. It transitions easily from day to evening and its flowing shape looks good on a variety of frames. You can tell that Meghan and I had a lot of fun shooting these looks.
For me, I paired the jumpsuit with a tailored jacket. I liked the contrast of the crisp jacked with the soft flowing lines of the jumpsuit. This look can easily work for the office and give you a dressy look for holiday shopping and luncheons. The black geometric bangle echoes the black cut outs in the sleeve. With the addition of a black velvet choker, I achieved a sophisticated and stylish vibe. My favorite black and white go-to booties from Isabel Marant lend the edge to create a high impact look.
Since the Bomber shows no signs of waning in popularity, I thought it the perfect topper for an evening look. So I styled Meaghan with the Bomber over the jumpsuit to create a soft, sexy look. These two pieces are a match made in heaven. The spaghetti strap is a lovely, flowing jumpsuit perfect for Holiday parties. To give the waist some definition, I added this brocade Obi belt for a touch of drama.
When paired with the embroidered Bomber, it is the perfect mix of feminine and sexy and sets you up with a high impact look. I love the softness of the relaxed bomber with the flowing lines of the jumpsuit.
For the evening, it has a wonderful structure for statement jewelry, my favorite way to accessorize. Many possibilities exist. To create a focal point, you could add a bold, chunky necklace. In that case, keep the earrings and bracelet simple to let the necklace shine. If you want to highlight another area, wear a delicate chain or be totally on-trend with a velvet choker. The bare arms are perfect for a statement cuff.
Since I love this bomber so much, I could not resist it myself. Here you can see how one piece can express your unique beauty and style, Meaghan and I rock the Bomber in our individual styles.
I love these pieces and will be featuring them in my one day Pop-Up Shop, Oliamoda Holiday Edition on December 10, 12-7PM at the Skool on K Street restaurant in Sacramento. Be sure to shop early for unique accessories and gift items packaged for easy holiday giving.
Let me know how you are styling for ease and comfort this season.
