Silhouette Frames – the Perfect Glasses for a Unique You
We are lucky to live in a world where glasses serve as such a vital tool, and have also become chic accessories. I wore glasses when I was a young girl, but truly didn’t love wearing them. When the opportunity arose, I chose to have Lasik surgery. Later in life, I experienced the effects of pregnancy on my eye-sight. Additionally, my job requires hours of gadget time each day, which is also harsh on eyesight. Once again, I found myself needing a pair of glasses for everyday wear. Only this time I was excited to explore the many options of frames and new fresh styles of eyewear available. The two most important criteria I have while picking the perfect pair are style and comfortability. Also, I really wanted something that matches my eclectic yet sophisticated spirit.
I was introduced to Silhouette eyewear as an industry leader in creating lightweight, stylish frames. But I had no idea how lightweight these beautiful glasses would actually feel – they literally feel like wearing nothing! So different from what I remember having growing up. The Austrian eyewear company puts innovation and an eye for design central in the creation of their products. The Inspire Collection definitely spoke to my personality and style requirements. You can customize the rimless lens shape and frame color to fit your unique style. I chose a cat-eye like lens shape and opal grey frames with a hint of rose gold, as I know these are a good match to my sharper facial features. The rose gold details are easy to pair with most of my jewelry and accessories. Plus the tinted hue of the lens and extremely lightweight design fulfilled my entire wish-list.
I have a few tricks on how to wear a pair of glasses in style. Since the glasses accentuate your face, I recommend keeping your eyebrows groomed and shaped. The tint of these glasses adds to my make-up and compliments my eyes. Manicured eyebrows add to the sophistication of this look. Another tip is to use concealer under your eyes to avoid them looking sunk in. A little bit goes a long way, so use it sparingly. Finally, wear a little bit of eye shadow and mascara. The little bit I am wearing comes to life with the softly tinted lens, and adds a nice glow and energy to my look. Wearing glasses is a great way to express your individuality and showcase the unique you.
In today’s look, I am wearing a vintage suede dress from the 80’s era. The peplum and leather detail make this an easy item to make current with these chic frames. But don’t live in the past era of eyewear – find the stylish pair that fits your look and personality from Silhouette.
