Two tips on how to wear a moto leather jacket this season

It is not news that a moto leather jacket is a timeless and edgy piece. It is one of those staple pieces that will elevate a wardrobe in the most effortless and versatile way. The best part is that this type of jacket will never go out of style. If you do not already own one I suggest investing in a high-quality piece. You won’t regret the decision as you will be wearing it for years to come.
The list of items that go well with a moto leather jacket are endless. Denim, skirts, leggings, wide legged trousers and so much more. It has that “cool factor” whether you throw it over a t-shirt with jeans simply to run errands or over a maxi dress for a business meeting. Drape it over your shoulders to add an element of edge while keeping the rest of your outfit chic and classy.

In today’s look I am rocking a fabulous long sleeve maxi from one of my favorite vintage stores Racks. The vibrant print stole my heart. You too can own one of these 70s era pieces by clicking through my selections from the Etsy store or by visiting your local vintage shop. Aim for vibrant prints and a cut that can score a wide belt to add a modern twist to the look.
If vintage shopping is not for you, then the department stores and boutiques that have a vast selection of long sleeve dresses will be your stop. Below I picked my favorites. Long sleeve dresses will be another fashion staple to have this Fall.
If you already own a leather jacket but are looking to update this staple without spending the big bucks, then I have a quick tip for you. Think embellishments, patches and studs. Those details continue to be a statement maker so you can find them at boutique or antique stores.
To elevate my look I paired the dress with a kitten heel and a wide belt. I then added a dose of edginess with the biker style jacket and these round shades.
