Two Fashion Designers SpaceX Should Consider For Its #dearMoon Project

Recently Elon Musk’s company SpaceX has revealed their first private passenger flight around the moon.  Mr. Yusaku Maezawa is set to be this historic passenger. This man is known for his wealth and appreciation of art. Mr. Maezawa has decided to bring five artists with him on this iconic first flight. The initiative is part of the #dearMoon project, that is set to inspire these artists to come back and create a new collection after their space trip around the moon. “Some of Earth’s greatest talents will board a spacecraft and be inspired in a way they have never been before” – Yusaku Maezawa.

The two designers discovered at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia make perfect candidates for Mr. Maezawa inaugural flight and art concept.

The legendary brand boasts a history of more than 20 years on the Russian market. Her recent collection that was showcased during the 37th season of Mercedes Benz  Fashion Week Russia surprised its guests with a truly unusual and exciting presentation. Structured geometrical coats created from metallic fabrics and shiny plastic roamed the dark lit runway. Largely folded collars reflected the spotlights that trailed them, followed by shiny capes and coats of yellow plastics, followed by jackets with huge accentuated shoulder lines. The collection and show looked like an alien party, making Pisomani the ideal candidate for a moon inspired collection.

The latest collection showed at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia, consisted of cosmic shapes and showcased YuliaKosyak‘s artful approach in fabric choices and alien-like styling. Perforated capes, arm and leg accessories that resembled a Star Wars-like extravaganza, impressed its visitors with creativity and a futuristic vision. These two designers truly presented a sight of the future with their recent collections. One can only imagine what these visionaries will create after a journey around the moon. Which one of these designers would you send as part of the #dearMoon project?
