Fall Trends OliaModa Pop-Up Shop recap
I am so excited to share with you the results of the Fall Forward Oliamoda Pop Up Shop. It debuted this past Saturday, October 8th on the Skool on K patio. The weather, our set up and your energy could not have not been better. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us and check it out.
The idea of the Pop-Up Shop came this summer after my move to Sacramento. I decided it was time to expand my local following and to offer them carefully curated items that represented current fall & winter trends. If you know me, you know that my style is edgy and elegant, and that I quite often make unusual fashion and hair choices. So, I offered you, my followers new styles to try, and help you see how you make these new trends work with your own style.
One of the most popular items turned out to be our signature Oliamoda outfit: the bomber jacket, graphic tee and pleated skirt, anyone surprised? The jackets embroidery and pink and black pairing are all the hype for fall. Plus the versatility of this piece made it a popular purchase. Don’t forget my advice, push up those sleeves and add a chunky bracelet! Paired with the pink pleated skirt, such a feminine item, I made it edgy and masculine with oxford shoes, sheer socks and a chunky top. This look was perfect for my street style Fashion Sista, Carol.
Another popular item at the OliaModa Pop Up Shop was the fur collars. I am in love with how easily a fur collar can elevate and instantly add drama to a dress, a jacket or a sweater. These collars make everyone look glam! We paired these with several items and the effect was always stunning. Keep your eye out for these vibrant color collars that are fast becoming a necessary cold weather accessory.
I had so much joy styling every one of you who came to my OliaModa Pop Up Shop. Thank you again for your support. And, wear your items with confidence and style. Please leave me a note about what you loved and what you would like to see more or less of at the next Pop-Up. Hint Hint: put December 10th on your calendar.
Thank you to my dear husband and Skool Restaurant for providing my guests with tasty bites and lovely bubbles. We also had a lucky drawing for dinner at Skool and a one on one styling session with me that was won by Nadya and Gwenna. Congratulations to the lucky ladies!
Many people helped to make OliaModa Pop Up Shop a success. The wonderful photographer Quincy Stamper, the Skool on K staff, my retail friends and friends who loaned me pieces and of course my wonderful husband and daughter.
Thank you to Ringly for extending the generous discount to all of the people attending the event. It was so much fun introducing this pretty tech wearable to everyone who came.
The gorgeous display rack, the sign and the entrance desk were key to the rustic modern vibe we had. All of these gorgeous pieces were created by very talented local reclaimed woodwork designer StatusWood. I could have not been happier with the quality and craftsmanship of these items.
But what made the day great for me was seeing all of you, my loyal followers! Can’t wait to meet again. 🙂
If you could not make it to the OliaModa Pop Up Shop but see something you would like to get, shoot me a note and I will happily ship you the items.
Stylishly yours, Olia
