How to Style a Bell Sleeve Top for a Resort Look
Resort season is in full swing and the beauty of living in sunny California is that you can pull off a resort look without having to travel to the Bahamas. But hey, if you are going to a resort these items will be helpful in creating a one of a kind elegant extravaganza.
What exactly is a resort look? Resort look refers to a casual but elegant style of dressing while on vacation. It requires clean and tailored details. Lets look at my example. I used items that have been trending for the last few seasons and turned them into a summer vacation style with the help of few key accessories.
You might have noticed everybody is wearing the statement bell sleeves. The style looks good on any age and is an easy item to turn simplicity into drama. If you have one, I highly recommend grabbing it for your vacation, it will serve you well for the evening out. I chose a crop top to add to the unexpected contrast of large sleeves. Love the back zipper detail.
The high slit trend rules and here is why. Slit pants are sexy, effortless, yet elegant. Turning this item into a vacation companion is a no brainer. The breeziness and the movement of the slit pant will add so much romance and attention to your day or night out.
Accessories like my oversized hat and woven wicker purse are the main reason my look turned out so resort looking. They scream summer, and are a definite must have this season. I recommend opting for a vintage wicker purse, the 60s had it right, and I have found some lovely options for you below.
A block heel sandal is the perfect shoe for summer of 2016, it gives you the little bit of height without the pain of a heel, super comfortable and trendy. I accessorized with tassel earrings and a seashell bracelet to add to my vacation like attire. With this look, you will be chic and elegant at the resort and on vacation.
