Happy Easter friends! Christ has Risen! Today is a beautiful day to reconnect with God, your soul and spend time with your family.
The outfit I am sharing with you today, is a great reflection of my personality. It also happens to be a very trendy option for the coming season. Prints reigned on the runways, and I am going to share with you why you too need amp your wardrobe with such explosive patterns and vibrant hues.
Bright clothes and fun designs are a great way to showcase your personality. If you are concerned an all over pattern is not for you, know that in fact, this season’s prints will look great on any body type. Try pairing one patterned clothing item with something solid. A graphic-printed skirt or a pair of pants with tribal designs looks stylish with a plain solid-colored top. The print still makes a statement without feeling overwhelming.
But if you are an adventurous kind like myself, and what to give the current bold print trend justice, go ahead and wear an all-over-print or mix two vibrant patterns together. This trend is all about showing off your fun personality and letting your confidence shine.
When choosing to mix two vibrant pattern together, key is to make sure there is one color pulling the two patterns together.
I am over the moon with this bold print dress all the way from Kenya. I love supporting small businesses, but especially when their story and craftsmanship is anything like Zuri. The quality African wax cotton, and its universal A-line cut is perfect for many body types. It turned out to be especially flattering for my 8 months pregnant belly. I chose to pair the dress with another bold colored item, like these vibrant oxford shoes and a statement bamboo bag.
To achieve a refined approach, I balanced the bold print dress with a solid vivid colored earring and neutral lips. All the colors were pulled from the pattern and helped in creating a uniformed look.
I added another dose of drama buy pairing the look with my reflector cat eye sunnies.
So the carrot like pattern and the spirit of Easter called for my daughter to join me on this photo session. Her adorable dress with the futuristic bunny print is a perfetc match for my carrot like pattern. Needless to say you will see us from far away in these outfits. Yana was little camera shy, but we built a fun memory swinging on the gorgeous Bernal Height hills with its exhilarating city views. Now we are off to our favorite restaurant Skool on K for a delicious Sunday Brunch with our beloved daddy and his family.
So go ahead ladies, wear outfits that make you feel inspired and energized, and you’ll be sure to turn heads.
Thank you for reading and keep styling.
