Street Style SS19 Trend Alert: The Western Boot

Street Style Fashion has taken a turn Due-West. The Western boot trend has felt strong amongst major street style stars and influencers. This classic boot was first introduced on the runway by major fashion houses like Isabel Marant and Fendi. It is now prominently represented by global fashionistas and Country style beauties alike.

A Western booty is defiantly a statement maker. A shoe like that has the power to instantly take your look to the next level. It will “upgrade” the last season’s skirt or item of clothing you are otherwise tired of wearing. The western boot offers the versatility of the shoe that goes well with so many different styles of garments. Personally, I prefer to wear my boots in the warmer months with shorts or minis. They are the ideal pair of shoes for dessert living or festival ensembles.

The boot that is made for walking looks really good with shorter lengths. It has that magic touch of giving your legs some extra sex appeal, without compromising on comfort. This style of boot will go just as well with a midi or maxi length creating that edgy touch to an otherwise elegant outfit.

Another benefit of owning cowboy boots is that they are made to last. I suggest opting for the real deal cowboy boot. Authentic boots can be pricey, but if the price suits you, the look is appealing and their versatility is apparent then ‘pul your cowgirl trigger’. For instance, my pair is a decade old and I purchased them before my first Burning Man visit. I have since then taken them to the desert many times. It is unbelievable how they have retained their shape and quality even after all these years of wear and tear and desert abuse.  It is no mistake that quality cowboy and cowgirl boots are made to last.

If you are seeking a totally current version of boots, do not be afraid. The selection will be pleasing even the wildest tastes. Currently, you can find Western-style boots in all shapes and colors such as pink, embellished, bedazzled and so much more.

Another reason why these boots are a win is the fact that it is suitable for any season. Sport it now with a floral midi dress, or incorporate it with your cold-weather wardrobe by pairing them with trenches and oversized slouchy coats. You will create a whole new look for yourself in an instant.

So, ladies, are you going to join me on this Western boot trend or be left in the dust?

I picked some great options for you to browse at.

Thank you for reading and keep styling,
