It is hard to believe that I am just a few weeks away from meeting our baby #2. I feel like this pregnancy flew so much faster than the first one. I am sure being a mother of a toddler, running three businesses has something to do with that. My priorities are finally shifting towards nesting and preparing myself for the new bundle of joy.
Most of my family members wished for one more girl. I can not blame them as Yana is an absolute angel. I on the other hand secretly wished for a boy. What mother does not want to experience both? You can only imagine how thrilled I was to find out that we were indeed expecting a boy.
The nesting syndrome has hit me hard in last few weeks. I have been organizing and stocking up on all the main essentials. A stroller and car seat came high on the priority list of to-dos before the arrival. There is no way a pink canopy stroller was making the cut for this new addition to our family. The car seat also needs an update as Yana’s hand me down car seat does not meet safety standards so many years later. I was recommended the Evenflo Travel system and could not be happier with what it has to offer.
If you know me, you know how important it is to choose items that don’t only serve its purpose, but also look good while at it. It might sound cliche, but being a fashionista like myself, I like to stroll in style and keep my baby in comfort. This Pivot Travel system from Evenflo made the cut on so many levels. The option of forward or backward facing baby is so wonderful. I know I will be wanting to stare at that little angel as much as possible.
I chose the dark grey combo and love how aesthetically pleasing it is. It will look great in the car and on those long walks and cozy naps. I remember how much joy it was to stroll through SF parks with then teeny tiny Yana and now living in Sac, I can’t wait to explore the parks and neighborhoods with my all new Evenflo
The option of a flat bassinet stroller was very important to me. I am within walking distance to two parks and many river trails. So having baby snooze on his back is a priority. The best thing about it is that this stroller will grow with the little babe. It transitions into a toddler seat with just a few adjustments.
My favorite part is how lightweight it is, yet so safe for the baby in toe. The car seat attaches to the base of the stroller, making it an easy and seamless transition from the car to a walk in the park.
The stylish, cotton canopy slides perfect on the car seat and will also serve as a cover up while breast feeding.
What can I say I can not wait to meet the little man!
